"Jenny" is a featured song on Julian's newly released CD: "Cookie Cutter Girl." This is a highly original concept CD, as it is sung by her superhero alter ego, "Cookie Cutter Girl." "Cutter" is breaking women free from the mold in which society has held them captive. The CD's songs detail the origin of "Cutter," in sequence, and have an accompanying comic book in the works from Sonic Comics. Ron and Justine Fontes, an ex-Art Director for Marvel Comics and the "Queen of children's books," will be CO-writing the adventures of "Cookie Cutter Girl" along with Julian. When asked what, beside Jill Sobule's tale & Cookie Cutter Girl, inspired her song, Julian quipped, '"Jenny" is about the complications of modern relationships. Sometimes your girlfriend can be stolen ... by *her* girlfriend.'
Lynn Julian received the honor of having "Jenny"
requested by "Choice Tracks" and "Kurt Howell" in Los
Angeles, California, as well as "Eargoo Inc." of New York. These
well known publishers place a wide range of songs in television and film.
"Jenny" also
appears on the compilation CD, "Glow Boy," released by "7 Records
